If any of us conjure up the image of the typical runway model, we all picture a waifish barely size 0 model strutting her stuff (or lack there of) looking like a skeleton draped in a thin sheet of skin. Canadian designer Mark Fast decided to break that stereotype by sending plus sized models down his runway at his Spring ’10 show in London. To hear that this move caused his stylist and casting director to walk out two days before the show is shocking. What, are they embarrassed?? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this issue, leave a comment!
Controversy on the Runway

You would think they would be too ashamed to walk out on Mark (go Mark!) with all the “real-size” hype recently. Hasn’t it become cool to be above size 8 yet?
Finally someone (Mark Fast) with common sense. I love ‘normal’ people. I detest the ‘walking’ skeletons. Are they the product of sick minds or people with homosexual preference?
There’s nothing wrong with those sizes. They all look normal. I prefer that. Walking skeleton (I borrow Frank’s word) makes me sick!
first pics i saw of the models i thought “my god, he’s made a mistake”. But these ones actually look good (their dresses r the right size and everything :p ). Well done that man! Continue!
