
As Jews worldwide approach Yom Kippur in the next couple of hours, we contemplate our choice of shoes we will be wearing over the holiday since wearing leather is prohibited. Although made of plastic, a Lithuanian rabbi is imploring Jews NOT to wear crocs because they are too comfortable to be worn on a day of mourning. Thank goodness because if we did wear crocs, we would have one more thing for which to repent.
So true,
they are hideous, and just as comfortable as converses
Why not wear those?
